The CrowdMyRegion project has been launched on the 1st of April 2018. The project is supported by the Federal Ministry of Economics as part of the promotional program "Smart Service Welt II". Besides InES, the consortium embraces three further institutions: EDEKA/Lunar GmbH, ciconia Software UG (limited liability) and fastahead GmbH & Co. KG.
CrowdMyRegion pursues two subordinate objectives. On the one hand, the aim is to research, develop and evaluate a social supply network as an app-based service platform. On the other hand, a software development platform for a Smart Service World on the basis of regional merchandise management systems should be developed. InES is primarily concerned with the first aim and is responsible for two tasks: It develops predictive algorithms, which should combine available mobilities and product orders. Furthermore InES shall develop an architecture on which the algorithms can safely work on data to ensure the privacy of the supply network's participants.
